Keeping a Journal

Have you ever kept a journal?

When you are out on your adventure make sure you
always take along a journal and pencil to log
the area or something interesting you find.

If you find something you've not seen before or always wondered what it was called,
try pick out 3 things to help you identify it later.

Take a picture to help you identify it later.

You never know what you'll find!

Now the Fun begins!

To help you identify your item use a
Source Book, the Internet(with your parent's permission) or ask a Librarian.

In identifying your item include the Common and Scientific name in your journal.
Example: Poison Ivy / Toxicodendron Radicans.
